Was wondering what a F&w with serial #144281, good condition is worth? Was told by Great Grandfather that he took this from the Dalton gang in Beloit,Ks. (of course he is long dead by now) Also I have a circa 1885 Lemon Squeezer in PRISTINE condition. serial #31722*

The Forhand and wadsworth company made guns from 1871-1890 under that name..in 1890 the name was changed to Forehand arms co, and that name was used untill Hopkins+Allen purchased the company in 1902,,as for yours ..you didn't mention the caliber,,from what i can see in my refrences there were only a couple models made with 5 shot cylinders,,the british bulldog which resembled the british made pistol of the same name ..made in 44 cal webley,,also i have a swamp angel model listed in 41 cal.,,both of these were made under the F+W name,,the values for themare about 150 fair-400 exc for either one,,as for your lemon squezzer your lookin at a value of 100 fair-375 excellent,,and it was made between 1888-1902
