i have a jc higgins model 20 12 gauge shot gun. it has a ploy choke on it i believe but it shoots more like a spead choke. my question is where do i get the wrench to take it off and where do i fined the right kind of chokes to change it? i would like to change it to a full choke.

hi codester,
if it's a polychoke you should be able to screw in down to change the choke from improved to modified to full. the farther you screw it down the tighter the pattern. i may be frozen in place if you can't change the patterning of the shotgun.

hi,
this one's got me, can you send me a pic of the choke. if it's an internal type you can pick up a choke wrench from midwayUSA.com or any other shooting supply.
