figured since nobody seems to be proud of anything these days i'd share a pic of the 8 yr old grandson shooting a 1919a6 i helped a buddy build ,,my grandson can tell ya most of the military rifles of ww2 and he's smart as a whip and he always practices the good gun etthics of "always treat any gun as if it's loaded!" one day we were looking at a 22 rifle at a sale and he ask if he could hold it,,the guy said sure but be careful,,first thing he did was remove the bolt and check to see that there wasn't a round or anything restricting the barrel..lol..lol..thats why i call this post .."chip of the old block"
lol..lol

curt,
looks as if he's had some great training. with all the shootings in the schools these days, i feel that if more of our youngsters where taught the proper respect for firearms there wouldn't be the desensitive actions that alot of kids today practice, and alot of the credit goes to technology and the "games" children are alowed to "play" where the bad guy gets to come back next game. sorry Curt, didn't mean to jump on a soap box. i understand the pride from doing something right and you surely have.
