The full choke and short barrel and rifle type sight make it difficult for skeet. Also I doubt that they would hold up very long under skeet conditions. They are should ok to stick in the closet and shoot a box or less every year.

www.centuryarms.com ?

I seem to recall seeing a page the late Mark Penman had started on one. I wish I could recall the article, but if it is typical of most Norinco guns, it will have some obvious lack of quality control in some areas, which I believe he addressed. A poor man's Ithaca 37, really.

#>Bottom eject.. it sounds like a clone of the Ithaca 37 (which itself is a take-off of a Winchester designed by Browning.) If so, they picked a good shotgun to copy; whether they did a good job or not, I don't know.

Remington, Model 17, was the Browning-designed forerunner of the Model 37 Ithaca, not a Winchester.

I bought one a year or so ago and have been pretty pleased with it. Overall fit and finish is better that you'd expect on a $150 gun. Mine is a very good copy of an Ithaca 37 as I broke the top extractor hook and an Ithaca part dropped right in. Function has improved as I shoot it but a word of warning, OO buck and slugs are an adventure. Can you say recoil? I keep mine behind the bedroom door, first up is two #6's followed by two #4 buckshot. For the price I couldn't pass it up and I'm not disappointed.

Stay safe.

these are as rude & crude as an AK which I also love. for the money you can't beat them as a home defense gun or cheap deer gun. i've sold ones that haven't come back, folks seem happy. for my money Norinco makes wonderful products
