Chicago Declares War Against Guns?

If you’ll skip the 26 minute of the video to hear the future Cook County State’s Attorney Anita Alvarez saying that no one should have a gun.

SayUncle brought a link to the video and to the Illinois governor decision to place speed cameras on intersections so that cups would be able to find illegal gun owners and walk the street of Chicago confiscating guns.

The current gun ban hasn’t done much good to the murder rate and with the current legal attempts to overturn the ban completely it seems that this is clearly the wrong way.

If citizens are allowed to have guns for self defense there is a much better chance to stop some of the murders.
