i'd say proably in the 400-600 would be a GOOD selling price for private sale or at auction,,mabey a little higher if really clean,,a dealer would proably offer in the 300-450 range depending again how nice it is and how bad he wants it!

How old is the gun?
If made in the 50's could be valuble.
I have been to several gun shows I have seen those A-5's go for 1500 and above.
