can my reciever on my 30-06 remington 742 bdl be rebuit. has grooves in side causing jamms

hello,,you may be able to get a new receiver thru gunparts corp,,but i highly doubt it could be repaired if so bad as it't binding ,,how did ya get these groves in it so deep to interfere with function? can't say i ever herd of that one before ,,are ya sure these grooves are causing the binding? it doesn't have a scope on it does it ? sometimes the screws holding the mounts are too long and this could cause binding ..can ya post a pic? i really hate to tell ya but if your receiver is really bad anything you would do is going to be pretty costly,,a new receiver and having the barrel replaced could cost you upwards of 200+ and the rifle is only worth around 250 good-325 if really clean,,you could proably find another complete rifle without the problems on gunbroker.com cheaper than having yours fixed..
