You can pretty much put a scope on anything. Just get the right mounts for the make and model. If not, creative installation is required with possible drilling and tapping. This would be better left to a Gunsmith unless you are very handy.
As stated in a previous topic, I found a factory scope mount way back in a closet that fit my JC Higgins 101-16
that I didn` know that I owned. Must have picked it up at a swap meet or yard sale years ago. I believe the JC Higgins, sold through Sears years ago is the same as the Stevens mod.87a. Someone correct me if I`m wrong.
