Your rifle was manufactured in 1948. The fact that it is marked for only LR caliber does add a substantial premium. Any chance it is an octagonal barrel also?

what caliber is your model 94, ammo is really hard to find for my .38-.55, winchester makes a run of special calibers once or twice a year only. luckily I have a supply.

i agree with shooter ,,the 30-06 version is the most common caliber and many many were made ..in my part of the country the going price seems to be in the 300-400 range,,and they do seem to be trickli...
