I've got the Bushmaster XM15 E2S A3 with the removable handle and I would like to upgrade the rear peep site that came with the rifle. I don't want to install a scope because I enjoy the challenge of shooting with the iron site, but I would like (if possible) to improve on the factory sites. Can anyone recommend a vendor? If 'better' rear sites are available, is the installation of a new site something that I can do, or should I take the rifle to a gunsmith? Also, is there anything that I would have to do to the front blade to have it 'match' a new rear site? And, lastly, what kind of prices would I be looking at for an upgrade?

Regards,

Richard Huelbig

Goto www.bushmaster.com they have all you will need. They sell match sights and all other items to help you get more out of the rifle. I got a two stage trigger from them and I really like it. I also have a 16inch carbine with a flat top. I put an aimpoint ML2 on it and it shots the friggin balls off a fly up to 100 meters. Still a challange to use but just a little easier on the eyes if you know what I mean. For my money not a better feeling or hanling weapon out there.

Come to think of it you are wright. There are more people out there making the parts you want. I was looking in my copy of Brownells catalog and they had a ton of match sights from all kinds of companies. Guess you have to find what you like and buy from a name you trust.
