building a custom gun

I am going to build a custom 7mm stw and need info on the best action for this. Pierce long repeater action and Surgeon tatical action cost 800.00 to 1000.oo would like info on other actions. Shawn

without knowing what your' wanting this rifle to do its hard to give a diffenative answer. the folks around here who have built hunting rifles have generally used remington, some winchester and a few Mark X actions and the number of possible barrels are staggering. my suggestion would be to google rifle actions and then checkout what buyers have had to say, same for barrell and trigger. JMHO
