I see Sportsman's Guide is selling a BSA 30mm Red Dot Scope for $40.
1/2' long and 9 oz, 5 moa windage clicks. Does anybody have experience with this? I have a Tasco I've been happy with on a .22 pistol, but $40 looks like quite a deal! Thanks in advance for any

I have a Black one on my 44 super blackhawk. I haven't hada problem with it yet, and I've put 3 or 4 thousand rounds thru it.

I have one of their 42 mm models on my Marlin Camp Carbine. It has a lot of parallax error. There's no excuse for parallax in a non-magnifying scope so I will definately avoib the BSA models from now on. Shame too, since it's been a durable unit.

I have had problems with the rheostats going bad in two of their red dot scopes. No more BSA for me.

My BSA won't hold a zero anymore, this is after several years though. For the price, it was a pretty great deal.
