I have a browning lite 12 gauge auto. Serial # is 4G73897 with 27 inch vent rib barrel. Can anyone tell me what the manufacture date of this gun is and approximate value, Thanks

I believe your gun is a 1974 (G)is for Light Twelve and the rest is your serial number. I paid $625 for mine in good condition, but people say it's worth between $800 to $1000.
