hello,,i'm wandering if this might be a trainer ,,anything marked on the left receiver rail and does it look like a sporter rifle or a military rifle with full lenght stock?

The barrell is longer than the stock on this gun, dont know alot about guns though thanks for responding.

I saw one of these at a local Gun Show today. It was in fair condition and was marked $1200.

I too have a British .22 training rifle based on the 303 battle rifle. On the left reciever it is stamped No. 7 MK 1. On the front barrel strap it is stamped N79. All numbers match on the bolt,magazine, and trigger strap. It does however have a Lyman reciever sight on it. Can anyone tell me about this rifle and possible value. Thanks.
