The model 1900 Brevettata was not a .22 firearm.

It was a .25 blank firing starter's pistol.

It fired 6mm "caps" fed on a sled.

If your gun looks like this:

then it is a blank firing starter's pistol and not a firearm.

If you don't have the "sled" that carried the caps into the gun, then the gun is essentially valueless.

Value: Probably around $25.

This model is a starter pistol..the Barrel is not a barrel that fires projectiles..

here is a better picture of the gun and ammo used.

I have one and iy has a plate in barrel which proves a starter pistol , but my question is how do tear gas cartridges play into a starter pistol ? personal defense?

I have the same gun with box but lost the sled.
I have the flare or gas adaptor for it too.
it screws into the end of the barrel.
would like to find sled and ammo too.

Is the manufucture a former Beretta company some how?

I have a Brevettata Model 1949 Rigata. It looks exactly like the model 1900. Empty square barrel, a slide button on the side of the barrel and a flip switch of some sort on the underside of the gun handle? There appears to be missing something to make this this gun work. I.E. a sled that fits inside the barrel? My gun us blued with brown grips.
