i can't find any original pistols with the marking you mentioned ,,if it's a colt it would be marked colt on the barrel ,,it may be an older reproduction possibly made in italy or spain,,so i can't tell you a good value without knowing who make it or where it was made,,repros in good condition can sell between 125-200 for good ones used ,,originals might sell for 500-1000+,,but any original colt 1860 army should have "colts patent" on the barrel along with "hartford conn" does yours have any made in country stamped on it ?

sounds like whats refered to as a naval scene on the cylinder,,i've seen them on some blackpowder pistols both vintage and reproduction pistols but don't recall them on the 1860 army models ,,the lack of the colt address and markings is what makes me beleive its a reproduction ,,but i'm not an authority on the old BP pistols ..mabey someone more knowledgable can chime in here,,a pic would be nice to see if you can..

I just got home with 1 of these tonight, and from what you both have said here answers my questions, so I am going and try to answer yours. First, if we have the sames ones, it is a replica. Mine has all of your markings, ship pictures on the revolver, the fancy M is acutally a P N and it is made in Italy. Mine does not have the colt stamp on it either. If you look at the pistol pointing the barrel to the right mine has, FAB ARMI FILLI PIETTA GUSSAGO BS ITALY along the barrel & pointing it too the left mine has, BLACK POWDER ONLY-MADE IN ITALY MODEL 1860 ARMY CAL. 44.
Hope this answers you questions as it did mine.
Thanks.
