BEST SCOPE AND MOUNT FOR M-1 CARBINE?

Well, without knowing how you will use it, we can't really say..... BUT, the M-1 Carbine round is a short range round, so I would suggest something like an Aimpoint (no magnification) to maybe a 3x or 4x scope. I would not get a variable power scope for this round, and anything over 4x is going to be overkill. You just aren't going to get enough effective range out of the M-1 round to make it worth it. As for a mount, I have no idea. Sorry.

I have a universal M1- carbine and I have a tasco 3x-9x on it . If I remember right the mount is a weaver .
