i have a beretta -cal 6.35-cardone v.t
made in italy serial # 79677A
i cant find anything on it? what model? is the stamp 1953 the year built? can i put 22shorts in it? it has 25cal in it now. please let me know

No, you can't shoot .22 through it if it's chambered for the .25 caliber.... Do try it....

cbcorleone, kcbuck is correct. The .22 LR will not work, only the .25 ACP or 6.35mm as it is known in Europe. Your pistol is the Model 418 made from about 1937 through 1959 or so. And it was manufactured in 1953 which is what proof stamp and date indicate.

Don't do tht i hav the same gub its bout $250gub ib good shape. tge best to shot is tge browning 6.35 rounds. u could shoot tgose bout only in life or death sitch
