I have a belgium browning .22 take down long rifle made in 1972. I am wondering what it is worth? Not sure what grade it is or how to tell?

kliker13,

First off I know nothing about these rifles. I have seen a few at shows and they certainly are attractive looking. I did find one for sale at a site that I cruise for Winchesters. His prices do tend to be definitely on the high side for other rifles. I am sure it is also for this .22. Don't use this as the gospel worth but it is a number. If yours is the same style and condition 75% might be a more reasonable point. This rifle has an engraved receiver and sure looks to be almost perfect. It is .22 LR Asking $1400.

He also has an almost identical Japanese version for $900.

Another place I actually drive to has blued receiver type Japanese versions for $450 to $500. An engraved Japanese Grade 2 is offered for $1150. Picture below.

There. Did that clear everything up for you?
