Barrett Model 90

I have a Barrett Model 90 with a 10X Swavorski Scope (Christmas tree type) and 50 rounds of hard ball ammo in a can and the hard shell Pelican case. I have been trying to find the value of this package, but have been unable to get anything for sure. I know to replace this package, it would be around $7800.00 give or take. I want to sell this but do not have an idea of what to price it. I have to move my 85 year old mom and I don't have any relatives to help me. Thanks for the help.

I think 7800 is a list price but you did say give or take a bit. I won't deny they are a heck of a rifle and heck of a scope as well but 50's are not exactly a rifle that moves very quickly. I've seen "like new" listed from 5,000-6,000 and of course that scope is a 1500-1800 scope new. One of the good points of gunbroker.com is that it is an auction and it should bring it up to market price. I know this probably hurts but if you list the package as 6,000 it might sit or a while if you want it to move if you start the bidding at 5,000 is should get bids but you then have to be prepared that might be all you get as well..

i was thinking on the same lines as david,,you might be better off selling the rifle only ,then list the scope seperatly and the ammo seperatly,,the barret is a nice rifle but the market for high dollar guns slow ,,the scope would proably sell faster than the whole package ,,most dealers don't value a weapon just because it has a nice scope on it ,,and most of the time i've been told "i'm a GUN dealer not a scope dealer"..and"i'll buy the gun with or without the scope"..but your scope is a valuable one that alot of people building a tactical weapon would be intrested in..50 cal ammo is bringing around 5.00 a round so i'd list that seperatly also,,this way shipping could be broken down into 3 packages instead of trying to ship everything together if you sell online..
