I am wondering about the age, value, history of 32 caliber Aver Johnson handgun, serial#68715. Leather holster is stamped with AM RY EX CO (American Railway Express Company). Gun is in very good shape. Grip has been replaced, but I have the original, although broken.

hi dolebe,
i hope you meant Iver Johnson, being issued by AREC i would suggest a hands-on appraisel by an insurance adjuster would be in order. i'm not that upto date on issued pistols like the one you describe. sorry.
