savage slides in mint condition ususlly bring in the 2500 to 3500 range at auction....most are on colt frames...which is correct...............

The saddle ring 44 is considered somewhat rare. One in good shape will bring 500+ dollars nowadays on the auction sites.
I think it's made by Savage. There is one up for auction on AuctionArms.com at the time of this posting. The current high bid is $64. I hope that helps some.
thanks that helps ,,id value your winchester to a collector or at online auction at between 700 fair -1500 verygood and proably more if as nice as you say it is ,,the early winchesters pre ww2 usually...

Seen it in an auction in 399$ but usually private sellers sell it for 250-300 if they don't want to make the effort of searching.
your colt commando in good condition should bring 300-400 at auction or to a collector,,this model was parkerized for use in ww2 and my books say it was made between 1942-1945 for use during the war,,...
values for the old smith would be.. 150 fair- 400 excellent to a collector or at auction depending on condition..

I would go to Gunbroker.com or Auctionarms.com and see what people are bidding for them. Go to one of those sites, type in your gun in the search box and you will see guns similar to yours up for auct...
I bought this at an auction... in pieces.. and cant seem to find out what exactly it is..it looks like a baby browning.. but not exactly..close but no cigar...the safety is not under the grip on this ...
A Registered Magnum! I would have a Auction House that does that type of fire arm handle sale for me. I've seen them sell for upwards of 20K.
