Nebyellat,

Production for the Astra Model 2000 (CU began in 1954 in .22 Short and 1956 the .25 ACP production was introduced. This model was an updated version of the Model 200 which was introduced in 1920. Your pistol was likely produced in 1966. There is a proof stamp on the frame under a '*' character. Reply with that and I'll confirm the date of manuf.

The value is based on condition. Depending on that the value ranges from below $100 to as much as $225. Not highly collectible but very nice little pistols, Colt also sold these as the Junior Colt beginning in 1957. These probably have a bit more value and they sold a .22 Short conversion kit consisting of a .22 Short barrel and slide.

Is it possible to catch a daylight photo, of both sides? The image is far too dark to see condition or details.

I'd like the serial number and any identifying markings reported here or at least include them in the images.
