I have this piece with c.g. Haenel suhl germany schmeisser's patent with hs in the grips an numbers 11408 on the side with an n an a symbol would appreciate any information thank you.

Answer as follows, Established in 1840, this company began to manufacture semi-automatic pistols after Hugo
Schmeisser joined the firm in 1921 as it's chief engineer.
Caliber 6.35mm, 2.48" barrel, 6-shot & each grip is marked with a "HS" in an oval. Value = poor $125.00; fair $200.00; good $295.00; v.g. $400.00; & $500.00 in excellent condition...........................Joe
