army issue 1911 what is it worth

Army issue 1911 45 acp good condition with colt emblem stamped on back of slide,has 4 patten numbers stamped on frame. Serial #62xxx. It has property of United States on frame and model of 1911 US Army on slide with patton dates of april 20 1897, sept 9 1902, dec 19 1905, feb 14 1911 on slide, condition is good only has a little bit of bluing wear marks on front of slide.

hello need more info on your colt,,a serial number with the last 3 numbers XXX out would be fine,,also is it marked with us property and any other markings or initials would be helpful to determine when it was made and also what is the overall condition?

thanks that helps alot ,,your colt 1911 was made around 1914 and current book values are 1150 poor -4500 excellent,,to a colt collector or possibly at auction depending on condition..it's definatly a good one ..a dealer may offer between 500-1000 if he know anything about 1911's
