I have an Armi Fratelli Tanfoglio Model TA90, 9mm Parabellum with 15-shot clips. My problem is this weapon seems to jam constantly - I have never been able to shoot more than 3 rounds without a jam. I have tried Remington, Winchester and other brands and am at my wits' end. Any thoughts?

hi kanantais,
it could be a weak extractor, magazine, or the follower may need tweaking, i.e. a little honing. another cause could be something that i learned about a spanish star i had in 9mm that would jam. i was holding it like a revolver and when fired it would recoil into my hand and not have enough umph to kick the case out. no offence but you may try a more solid grip on the pistol when firing. helped mine abunch. JMHO

brother i use to have the same problem but with the tanfoglio force 99 but had to fix it to use the gun in IDPA competitions the only thing i did was i passed the dremmel throw the chamber(just a little bit and doesn't affect the guns barrel so in my case its totally legal) and my results are awesome my gun doesn't jam anymore and shoot all types of ammo and the best part i didn't spent money and (my country) is totally legal

not yet - I haven't attempted any of the great suggestions. I will post results once I attempt. Thanks for asking. I'm hoping it's a loose grip, something I have been working on with a new Springfield Armory XD45

great point- i really think most jams with good guns like these are caused by the firmness of the grip. usually the thumb hold. I have a tanfoglio 380 that jams any time i get lazy with my grip. All tanfoglio guns are awesome but require a tight hold.

I had the same problem - with 115 grain rounds. Switched to 124 grain and problem disappeared
