you have a type 44 carbine as intact as yours id it wouldn't surprise me if the cleaning rods are still in the buttrap,,there were 3 versions of the folding bayonet and differed mainly by the way its pinned to the wood,,this is a very good miliyary colectable and very much in demand,,the bayo assembly alone i've seen sell for 200-250,,just for the bayonet and pivot/band assembly ,,the carbines,,look at your serial number and the last 3 digits should be the same on the bands ,,the bolt and bolt parts ..on the bolt when you lift the handle you will see a 3 digit serial stamped at the root of the handle,,in good condition with mum and matching numbers it should easily see 6-800 at auction or to a japanese collector ,,mabey more depending on which bayo assemble you have (some were more rarer than others) ,,heres a great site for the markings that you can determin what arsenal made it and also a pretty close year of production,,and what the markings mean
http://www.radix.net/~bbrown/japanese_markings.html,,(sorry the link doesn't seem to be working but cut and copy the address and it will work) very nice carbine and very sought after in the condition you say yours is in ,,and if you can post a pic !,,i haven't seen one for awhile and yours sounds pretty nice..
