Any Idea what a Mossberg 500A 12 gauge is worth? It is Pre-1968 and has no serial numbers. A pawn shop offered 300 for it? Must be worth $1200 or so?

That pawn shop will not stay in business very long... I'd take the $300 and never look back...

$300 is very high for a pawn shop to offer. What I think is they may want to part it out. When I converted my 500C
to a Tactical HD, I was able to recoup quite a bit for just the furniture alone. I also had offers to sell the dual slide bars as the new ones are a single slide bar.
(I didn't sell!) I did sell the original smoothbore bbl
w/internal choke and bought one 26"with the C-lect choke.
I also have an 18" bbl with a polychoke on it, and a rifled 24" bbl. LPAGhost ring on a rail and matching front sights. I have way more invested in it than it actually worth but it will do any kind of hunting/ trap or HD. For me it was just a project I wanted and will never sell it.

If you just want to get rid of it --like solddaboat says-take the 300 and run!
