any chance of seeing pics of the guns,,all 3 are valuable ,,especially the 7.65 walther,,are ther any german eagles with numbers underneith the eagle or any swasticas or german markings possibly dateing it to wartime service??
the beretta is proably a 1931 or 34 or 35 model,,it should be worth in good condition 350 to around 500 if in nice condition,,used by the italian army and the german army during ww2 years,,the walther 22 is a good collectors pistol and value would be 500 good to 900 excellent made from 1962-68,,so the only other one listed i need more info on,,

Will get pics later, for now, the Walther Model TP 22 Cal: Says "Walther TP Cal.22 L.R. Ulm/Do
Serial No. 202320 It has a Gold on Blue Walther Orb/Globe on the left side of the stock.

The Walther PPK:
Has the "Walther" script on the left side of the barrel, followed by "Carl Walther Waffenfabrik Ulm/Do
Model PPK Cal.7.75-mm Serial 216222

On the right side of the barrel, it appears to be a very small eagle with possible the letter "N" under the eagle and the #67 followed by what appears to be a design of a crown or maybe centipede

The Beretta: Serial no 64116 right side of barrel it says: MOD. 70 - Made in Italy

Left side: Pietro Beretta Gardone V.T Cal 7.65

The gun is chrome or silver with an ornate embossing(flowers and swirls) throughout. Over the trigger, rt side, it appears to say :montaggio

thanks that helps ,,
the walther model tp values 500 good-900 excellent/NIB

..the walther ppk i beleive is a post war model made after ww2 from the description you give of the markings,,it should still be worth between 300 good-550 excellent

..the berreta md 70 isworth between 250 good-425 excellent..

,,thanks again for posting the markings,,when we give values we try to be as exact as we can and sometimes just a name.. just isn't good enough to know exactly which variation or model you have ,,thanks again

I took the pictures of these 3 guns with a digital camera, now I'll have to wait for a relative to show me how to get the pictures from the camera to the computer and then to your site here, any suggestions on how to get these pictures posted here to the site from my computer??, obviously I am not computer savvy.

downloading pics to our site is fairly simple ,,but you will need to size them to 640x480 ,,thats the size i use and i don't have issues with that size,,before you can download the pics you need a picture editor software ,,this usually comes with a digital camera,,,,once installed on your computer ,,plug a cord usually also included with your camera into a usb port and click on the picture program you istalled,,it should bring up a window asking what you want to do ,,just follow the instruction that came with your camera nad that should get your pics transfered to your computer,,

,,after you get the pics transfered to your computer then open your post and click reply ,,below the text box you will see a box that says attach an image ,,click browse and it will open your folders ,,find the folder with pics in and double click the pic you want to add ,,it should automatically insert it into the box below and then click submit and it should bring up the pic,,sounds more complicated than it really is ..and once you do it a couple times it works pretty good..

,, when i first looked at it i thought it was the walther 22 ,,sorry about that but i wouldn't be surprised if yours might go for around those numbers at a good auction ,,may be a custom one of a kind,,i know it's very nice
and worthy of any collection..

hello again ,,ok now that i see them the tp pistol is in vg+ condition and i'd say around 700 +or- at auction,,the other still looks like a post war model and i'm thinking it's worth about what i quoted earlier,,

,,,great job with the pics ,,nice clear pics are what we need to see exactly what we are appraising so we can see the actual condition..you don't have the boxes from any of them do ya ?if you might have them add another 50-100 bucks for all the values,,very nice collection! thanks for sharing them with us

when you regester a gun your regestering it at the point of sale ,,a gun dealer is the only person who knows exactly what you have ,,you should be able to take them to a dealer and he will fill out the paperwork to regester them ,,they will do a background check now and thats just to make sure you can own a firearm,,the gunshop where they may have been originally purchased may no longer be in bussiness and trying to find out if they were regestered you'd have to know where they were bought,,30 years ago the laws were different and in my state there was a 3 day waiting period on pistols and rifles ,,this was for checking the same things about you the insta check does now ,,unless the guns were stolen at some time if you really want to regester them talk with your local dealer andf he should be able to fix ya up,,

Thanks Curt, no idea where they were purchased, the orig owner was an International Pilot so best gues is they were purchased on Planet Earth..LOL I have never owned a gun, so I understand that a dealer will register the guns to me and then I can sell them??
