how many rounds should my wnchester 94 hold. seems it only takes one plus chamber Is that correct?

no it should take i beleive (7)=6 in the tube and 1 in the chamber if memory serves me correct ,,someone may have plugged it at some time ,,,you'll need to dissasemble the tube and see if theres a wood plug in there ,,or your mag follower may have some rust or debris in it holding the follower from moving in the tube ,,shouldn't be that hard of a job but be careful theres a long spring inside the tube that can fly out if your not careful..if your in doubt have a gunsmith check it out for you..shouldn't cost much unless you need a new spring or something..
