Hi all... I'm new to this group, and hope that this question is within = bounds. If not, please direct me to the correct group. Here's the question: is there any particular company producing, or = distributing replica (working) firearms (ex: Winchester rifle yellow = boy....'cowboy' colts......union army muskets...etc) that could be = considered the 'Cadillac' line of reproductions? I realize a question = like this can cause great debate; it's not my intention to cause = trouble. =20 Thanks in advance...

The Uberti line or Pedersoli line are probably considered the 'Cadilliacs' of Italian firearm reproductions, IMO. Navy Arms; Taylor's &Co., Inc.; and Dixie Gun Works are several companies that carry full lines of either or both Uberti and Pedersoli products. I have several examples from both Pedersoli and Uberti, and examples from other Italian companies in my collection. All are heavily used in Cowboy Action Shooting and hunting here in Western PA.
