Howdy! I seriously hope that this message finds its way to the fine collector of such major, premium historical, all A.T.F. friendly Civil War era ALL ORIGINAL ANTIQUE FIREARMS THAT I AM NOW OFFERING! Two (2) years ago, I stumbled upon an old woman's estate sale whom was, for the first time ever, putting up for sale her deceased husbands MAGNIFICENT CIVIL WAR ERA, AND INDIAN GUN ANTIQUE FIREARMS COLLECTION! This man was a gun-smith, and major collector whom had died thirty (30) years prior, and whom had collected big time for the past forty some odd years before that-!-So, this collection commenced well over seventy (70) years ago, and I managed to acquire a few rare beauties in fine Civil War era, and Gold Rush era premium antique firearms! Whats more incredible is that each and every piece that I acquired I have NEVER, EVER SEEN ONE AS CLEAN, AND UTTERLY BEAUTIFUL AS THESE FINE ORIGINALS THAT ARE CLEARLY JUST ALL OUTSTANDING, PREMIER EXAMPLES IN THEIR CLASS--AND I MEAN FROM EVERY POSSIBLE GRADER'S CRITIQUE--THESE BABIES ARE JUST LITERALLY 110% ALL ORIGINAL, AND JUST IN TREMENDOUS ORIGINAL CONDITIONS WITH NO RESTORATIONS AT ALL!
I truly wish that I did not have to sell any of these fantastic pieces but now must due to the hideous financial straights that I have entered. Now, I am serious, all of these pieces patinas, proofs, original engravings, etchings, serial numbers are absolutely crisp, strong, and just near pristine perfect! none of the weapons frame screws, or any such piece appears to have ever been taken out as they are all guaranteed originals, but guaranteed originals in pristine, uniquely amazing conditions each! I am in the Dallas/Ft.Worth area and understand that with these antique firearms manufactured before 1900 that this is fully legal per Federal Law for me to do this, as the A.T.F. regards these antiques to literally be classified as a 'Non-Firearm', or 'Non Gun'. So, if anybody knows any different, let me know--thanks. Now, if you are not in this area of the country, and you are a firearms enthusiast, you must know someone that is knowledgeable about such guns here, or maybe the owner of a gun store, or possibly even the curator of a museum, or auction expert here. If so, I will be more than happy to take the firearms for their personal inspection, and even allow them to ship it for your complete and utter being at ease that all is 100% no b.s. on this end. If you are in Texas, I naturally welcome your personal inspection which is nothing but welcome. All that I ask is that if you have interests, and especially if you wish for me to take one of these items to your friend, gun store, or wherever for inspection that when it does report back to be just an amazing original that's totally in outstanding original condition, all matching, and so forth--that you acquire the item. In short, serious interests only PLEASE. Thank you.
Now, with this in mind, I am offering first a stunning MANHATTAN POCKET REVOLVER that is pictured above from a direct scan upon my scanner. I have a complete scan of all possible angles of this fine Union Officer's handgun that, like the picture above, is completely accurate--as this is the very gun that is, of course, being offered here. The piece is absolutely 110% ORIGINAL, and COMPLETELY ORIGINAL TO ITSELF!!! IT IS NOT AT ALL A HODGE-PODGE OF OTHER GUN PARTS AT ALL, AS IT, LIKE ALL OF THE OTHER FIREARMS I ACQUIRED FROM THIS COLLECTION DEFINITELY APPEARS THAT NOTHING HAS EVER BEEN WORKED ON AT ALL ON IT! ALL OF ITS SCREWS, EVERYTHING IS 110% ORIGINAL TO THE GUN, AND DO NOT APPEAR AT ALL TO HAVE EVER BEEN UN-SCREWED or TAMPERED WITH, WORKED ON IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM! IT IS JUST A PREMIER BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE OF ITS TYPE, AND THIS IS JUST RARE, AND NICE AS HELL!
This Manhattan is Serial # 16997, and is all matching. All of its proofs, serial number stamps are each and all strong, and beautifully legible.
Now, I started learning about this area of gun collecting when I acquired these fine firearms and have since very much gotten into it, having collected W.W.I, and W.W.II era firearms most of my life. So, all I can say, is that for those into these antique pieces for decades, YOU WILL VERY MUCH APPRECIATE THE EXCELLENCE THESE, AND THIS FINE MANHATTAN PISTOL TRULY REFLECTS!
Again, this piece is 100% fully guaranteed, and with insistence that you personally, or have another expert personally check it out before acquiring. I believe that this piece is a .36 Cal, with a fine 6" long octagonal barrel. Atop the barrel it is proofed, "MANHATTAN FIREARMS CO. NEWARK, N.J."
The photo above is again from a direct scan, and I have done a complete scanning of every area of this piece available to be e-mailed to SERIOUSLY INTERESTED FOLKS ONLY PLEASE.
Now, I have monitored many auctions, and seen what many of these particular firearms have brought at auctions, and brought in terms of final gavel prices that are clearly inferior Manhattan's in terms of overall original conditions when compared to this fine, outstanding piece, and, from this, feel that I have priced it VERY FAIRLY indeed when factoring the piece's uniquely excellent+ utterly original condition with a fine original patina perfect. Again, this firearm has NOT been restored, but is in just beautiful, and utterly amazing original condition. I prefer that the firearm is sold directly to someone here in The Republic of Texas, but will ship FedEx overnight in the presence of your assigned friend, or associate if desired--no problem. Shipping is extra, and only $65.00 dollars extra for OVERNIGHT FEDEX, plus the applicable insurance costs.
The PRICE: $1,350.00 Dollars.
THIS POST WAS PUT ON NOV. 11, 2009, AND IS FOR A PRICE, AND ANTIQUE FIREARM THAT IS ONLY AVAILABLE UNTIL DECEMBER 15th 2009. AFTER SUCH TIME, THIS PIECE WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE ANY LONGER FOR THIS PRICE, IF IT HAS NOT ALREADY SOLD. FOR THIS TIME, THIS IS THE ONLY SPOT, AND THE FIRST TIME EVER I HAVE EVER OFFERED THIS FINE ANTIQUE. THE FIREARMS PROVENANCE IS ONE THAT I WILL RIGHT UP, AND SIGN WHICH WILL COME WITH THE ITEM. THE ITEM COMES IN A CONTEMPORARY GUN CASE, AND HAS NO OTHER SUPPORT, OR SUCH WITH IT--JUST THE FIREARM AS SEEN HERE. Thanks for noting.
I have seen firearms like this go upwards of $2000.00 Dollars, with the usual price tag being that of $1,500.00 Dollars, and they are not as pristine at all as this most incredible example of all that is an early, Civil War era MANHATTAN POCKET REVOLVER SIDEARM.
I will be happy to issue forth all of my information, and phone number/address with serious inquiries.
Thank you.
It is a SERIOUS BEAUTY FOLKS!
