Just recently purchased .17 cal(1.5yrs ago) and can't seem to group more than 2 shots in a row, then they start to spray all over the target. When barrel is cold it's good. Is there a problem with the barrel.

you didn't mention weather it's scoped or not? if it is i'd check the mounts first and make sure there tight.. not just the rings but the mounts themself,,and if it is scoped check the ring screws that actually hold the scope in the rings,,if it's not scoped i'd check the action screws that hold it in the stock and make sure there tight,,i can't see there being a barrel issue unless mabey after 100+ shots right after another and the barrel being extremly hot,,i think you have something loose,,even the front or rear site ..
