I recently purchased a Mauser 7mm. I can only make out one set of numbers. The gun is in good condition and I am interested in year, value basically any info. The only number I can read is 2n7***. It shoots 7x57 shells.
I appreciate any help or info.

to a military collector it's worthless ,,but as a hunting rifle id say around 100 bucks mabey a little more to someone looking for a deer rifle or a kids first rifle,,great caliber

your chileian model 1895 should have a value of 250 (good)= mostly matching numbers -450 (exc) = for a non import stamped.. matching serial number model,,to a mauser collector or at a good online auction such as gunbroker.com,,made in germany and exported to chile,,military rifles will demand these prices if in original military configurations and unaltered with full military stock and handguard ,,sporterized examples will be much lower or rifles with scopes added or refinished in any way will be of lessor values to collectors..
