I have a 410ga. single shot serial #214uy stamped date 8-12-1913 left receiver stamped diamond arm co. st.louis with scrolls at either end. right side of receiver where barrel meets receiver stamed with a circle and a capital I. barrel says 410 bore or 12 M-M. stamped in center of barrel is 101 ranch. Also stamped right side butt stock 101. in clean and good condition. What is the value of the gun and what was 101 ranch?

hello,,the diamond arms co was a tradename used by the cresent arms co.and made for the shapeleigh hardware stores of st louis mo. these are decent quality and make good feild guns ,,the 410 models are very popular for younger hunters and values are higher than there standard 12 ga models ,,i'd estimate the value around 125-150 depending on overall condition ,,i see alot of tradename singles on the market and seems most have stock issues from age ,,eg crack nears the receiver tangs,,

no cracks on stock and stamped 101 ranch center top barrel rear right butt stock stamped 101. ( was told something about east coast wild west show. along the lines of wild bill hickcock.)
