I have inherited the above which, I beleive, is in original condition without wear but showing some discoloration. It has the original black composition grips. I believe my father purchased it in Cicago about 1920 and the serial number is 366.

Does it have any colletors value with the low serial number.

Thanx, Geobert

hello,,you may have a colt md 1908 hammerless pocket pistol..colt pistols are very collectable but condition is a big part of the value ,,when you say it's discolored do you mean it got a kinda brownish look to it ?if so this is common with vintage guns and just shows age,,called patina collectors look for this and expect it on original finish guns,,that said your colt if the above model would value in the 350 fair to 650 very good range and these values could go higher depending how a collector sees the overall condition or at auction..and yes the low serial number will increase the value to a colt collector ,,but again the condition will be the primary factor in the value but it sure won't hurt having the low serial number ..

HANG ON TO IT. THE LOW SER. NUMBER AND IF IN MINT CONDITION COULD BE VERY COLLECTABLE AND (VALUABLE) HAVE A GOOD GUN APPRAISAL DONE ON IT. IT MIGHT JUST BE WORTH THE MONEY SPENT!
