Anyone know what a .32 Winchester special is worth? It's a model 94.

King,

Let me clear a few things up just to start. The rifle is a Model 94 rifle, carbine style, chambered for the .32 Win special caliber ammunition. The serial number denotes it was produced in 1951.

The "what it is worth" question all depends on the condition. Please read this post and get back with a good description and/or photos. Then I can give you a meaningful estimate. http://www.gunvaluesboard.com/why-i-need-photos- 254864.html#25490

Thanks

Thanks for the quick response and sorry about the lack of info. I got it from my grandpa two years ago to use as a hunting rifle. It looks like the bluing is poor on the receiver and maybe even scratched. The wood is not refinished. There is also a scope on it which is off to the side so the shell can still eject, which I assume would give it a lower value. Once I shoot a nice buck with it I'm just gonna hang it on the wall. Thanks alot for all the good info.

King,

If it is in the condition you describe I am afraid it is not going to be highly valued. Probably doing exactly what you are doing is best. Using it for what it should be. Take care of grandpa's gun and try to find some old photos of him with it that you can frame and put next to the rifle. The history, and having it in the family will be its greatest value to you, and then your children.

I hunt with a Model 1873 that was made in 1888. I'll be in south Texas this weekend with it.

Good luck this fall,
