Some time ago, I came into possession (from my father) of a quaint little .22 caliber (shorts) revolver. It's marked 'CDM Prod Inc New York, NY' on the right side of the frame forward of the cylinder. The barrel is marked '.22 Cal. Short Model CDM' and is SN 279XXX. There is a gate on the right side of the receiver to allow for loading/clearing the cylinder, with a pushrod stored under the barrel.
So far, I haven't been able to find any information on this pistol whatsoever. Has anyone here heard of a pistol like this?

I think this company lasted a little longer than the import ones that got nailed post-68, I remember seeing an ad sometime in the early '70s, probably in Shotgun News, 3 for $50 with another purchase or something like that. You might find more info in the catalog section of an old Gun Digest of late '60s to early '70s vintage.

Jeff, I believe you have a Rohm revolver, one of the RG series.
