Any info on a Beretta semi-automatic pistol, ser. # 73779cc,black plastic grips with BERETTA across top of grip & round silver logo near bottom of grip;right side of slide "made in Italy", left side, "P Beretta cal 22 corto Brev 950; slide is VERY HIGHLY engraved & is polished nickel, frame appears to be burnished brass, also highly engraved, trigger highly engraved.Pistol measures 4 1/4 in. from end of barrel to hammer. Pistol is in excellent condition & may never have been fired. Hope this not too much info & that someone might have some idea of history & value. Many thanks in advance. jbp

Is there a year on the top of the rear frame on the "ear" left side? If so it should be a year in the 1950's What looks like brass is a plating that looks like dull gold but I don't think it really is. Would need to see a photo to see if it's higher grade then I've seen before sounds like it, those I've seen sold in the 600-800 range, at least double that if it's in the original box.

Thanks for your reply. There is no other number on the pistol except the serial # on the frame just above the trigger, & (4 digits of the serial # on the barrel when it's released from the frame). The only part of the pistol not engraved is the trigger guard & the bottom of the magazine. I do not have the box it came in. If I ever find out how to send a picture I will.
