I have 2 Winchester model 94's chambered for .32 Win Spc. Info is as follows:

1. Ser # 1301786, Produced between 1943-1948. This has a Williams peep sight attached, and I have the original rear sight piece. Not sure of they drilled new mounting holes in the reciver or used existing ones.

2. Ser # 2428864, Produced in 1960. This one is all original.

20" round barrels on both. Both weapons are in good working order with no rust or pitting. Weapons show wear on the reciever area where they were held during use. Buttstock and forearm on both are in good condition. I am hoping to shed some light on the value of these two weapons.

I also have a Winchester Model 1897 made in 1910. 12 gauge, 30" barrel, no rust or pitting, all original in good condition. I researched the serial number a while back, but don't have it written down.

hello,,your first winchester with the williams site made during the ww2 era should bring between 400-around 700 providing the williams site wasn't drilled to install.which i beleive it proably was because of the way they mount,, winchester didn't have the 2 holes pre drilled in these years ..if it is.. it would detract from the value to a collector as i'm sure you know from other posts i've answered and aslo providing there no other holes for sling swivels ,,if the rear site was drilled then value would go down to around 300-450 or so,,#2 the one made in 1960 is valued in the 375-550 range if again no alterations ,,your md 97 is tough to tell without knowing if it's a standard grade or a fancy model,,a standard grade in good condition and not refinished in my aera of the country will bring around 350-600 good+ but the way the buyer sees the condition on all of these is the deceiding factor over book values and some may pay higher for nice original condition models! without seeing the guns thats the best values i can give on them..i can tell you dealers would proably offer for #1+2 175-250,and the 97 proably 200-300..

Bigcurt,

Thanks for all the help. Neither of the 94's are drilled for a sling. The model 97 is a standard grade, sorry I forgot to list that. Thank you for all the help. I am jst getting into the buying and selling of guns. One final question is there a book of sometype and you recommend that I could use to quick reference gun prices that would get me in the ballpark if I am out and about and come across something.

hello again ,,i like The Standard Catalog of firearms by gun digest books,,very good refrence with tons of pics and 6 grade prices and 1500 pages of model and prices covers just about anything i've ever came across gun wise,,the main book for dealers in the blue book of gun values this is also a very good book for values but no pictures just descriptions and makes and models ,,for military weapons i use the standard catalog of military firearms ,,it covers just about any military gun you will find out there and also covers bayonets of all nations ,,for antique firearms made from 1900 back you can't beat the flaydermans guide to antique firearms very good book for antique and civil war firearms and prices with lots of pictures,,those are the books i use the most but i have other refrence and price guides for really oddball rifles and pistols ,,for a 1 book for all i'd go with the standard catalog line ,,youy can find the online at the major booksellers sites proably new and used..
