hi, i have a neighbor who has gotten her fathers 1894. it looks original but worn. not much metal finish left and stocks worn badly. action seems tight tho. has saddle ring, ser #546xxx. was wondering if anyone can give me an approx value and year of manufacture? thanks jrp544/ chambering is 25-35

hi jrp,
your 94 was manufactured in 1910, it's a desirabel cal. which is actually a necked down 30-30 that uses a .25 cal bullet, value may warrant a hands-on appriasal. i've seen them at gunshows going for anywhere from 1500 - 2500+. JMHO

Wife's grandfather left a 25.35 with saddle ring; shows lots of use as stock has nicks, scratches, etc. Serial is 660###. Any idea of age, range of value?

hi bill,
yor 94 was manufactured in 1913, value should be in the 600 - 700 range in stated condition.
