I have what appears to be a Colt 1911, but it the serial numbers don't match any from the Colt range. It was purchased as military surplus sometime after WWII although I am not sure exactly when. The only thing I can think of is that a Colt slide was used on a Ithica or Reminigton frame. The serial number is 2605495. Here are images.




If anyone has an idea on the value, I wouldn't mind having an idea what it is worth.
