hello ,,your remington rand pistol was made between 1942-1945 and there were 5 different variations made and all effect the price some,,as long as the finish is original and hasn't been reblued your pistol merits a hands on evaluation by a 1911 collector for proper valuation but i will say that it should bring at least between 1500-2000+ at auction or to a collector.. and this number could go up but proably not down..they are very desirable 1911 versions and usually command these prices in good or better condition as long as they are correct and original..but it's very hard to tell exactly what yours would be valued at from your description.
