hello,,a model 1911 isn't that easy to value because there are many factors involved ,,you say it was made in 1918 is it a colt production number ?has it ever been refinished ?,,is it correct with correct parts for the period ?has anything been replaced or changed ?what type of grips are on it,?value could be between 500-5000 but everything has to be right for the higher end of this range and it has to be original with original finishes and parts,,so just your breif description is very hard to give an close value without the serial number and other items in question..
