hi,
i found 2 model 95s like you discribed on gunsamerica, both selling for 2K, if it looks as good as this one it worth at least that. the 7400 is in the 400 to 550 range, JMHO

The serial number on this rifle is 11088 so it turns out it is and early 1899. It has 26 inch oct. barrel and a tang sight with a globe front sight. Also has a two way flip rear sight. The globe has patent date on it. The pin in the globe will flip up or down. On top of the barrel reads SAVAGE ARMS COMPANY UTICA NY USA PAT FEB. 7 1893 JULY 25 1893 CAL. 303 There is an attractive engraving before and after this stamped information. It was probably stamped as well. It looks like the pictures of the 1895 you sent. What is the value on this rifle? Thanks
