Good morning to all. I have a question regarding the value of a rifle I'm considering selling.
I have an unfired Marlin 1895 LTD III in 45-70 caliber. It was purchased new by me in 1999...I have the original box and paperwork. I have loaded no rounds into the magazine and it has not been carried in the field. The reason I purchased it originally was that it has a matching serial number to an LTD II I also own.
Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

hi RGraff,
Sold as new in box you should see 750 - 800. If you where to sell the pair with matching SN, you might be able to triple that..JMHO

Thanks for the prompt response Kim.
I would struggle in deciding to sell the LTD II. It's not unfired like it's little brother and has long since become my favorite hunting partner.
I appreciate the help very much. You've got a great site here...looking forward to being a regular.
