Hello,

A short time ago, I came across this Chilean 1895 Mauser, in pretty darn good condition, and was wondering where one might find a detailed history of the rifle, and possibly a good estimate price on it. Not that I really want to move it out of the safe, but just in case the economy forces it.

Other than some minor dings in the stock, the barrel and all other metal parts are brilliant and still in perfect blue. All stamping are clear and not scrubbed off at all.

Any cursory information would be appreciated

Brad

I've seen these rifles sell from $300-$850.. good to mint condition... there's plenty of them out there... so it's best you keep it for posterity or sell it if you're hard up for cash.
