I have an 1892 Winchester, Octagon bbl. 38WCF full rifle w/crescent butplate good condition (shootable) barrel is blue and receiver appears mottled brown, all original S/N 112XXX Can you advise approximate value?

I am on the road to a deer hunt. If you can send some photos it would be a big help. It sounds like your rifle is in OK shape but will not command a high value. You might read the blog I posted
