i just inherited a 1892 winchester 30 wcf its in fair condition. i was my grandfathers and from what i have read its a great rifle. i just wanted to get and ball park figure as to what the value of it might be. i was told it was produced in 1909 according to the serial number 496xxx. if anyone has anymore info i would greatly appreciate it.

hi gonzo,
value of your rifle is hard to est. due to the age, condition will be a large factor. a hands on appraisel by an insurance adj. would be in order. the low end value of your rifle would be aprox. 1500. JMHO

HEY THANKS KIM.

JUST WANTED TO GET A BALLPARK. THATS GREAT, I WILL HAVE IT APPRAISED TO FIND OUT BECAUSE THE CONDITION IS NOT ALL THAT GREAT BUT IT STILL FIRES GOOD. THANKS FOR THE INFO.
