Hi all. Looking to price an 1892 Winchester Model 92 in .38WCF ( 38-40 ). Condition is good with some minor surface rust. Early 5 digit SN: 18xxx . Round barrel, full length magazine, crescent butstock, no checkering, straight stock. Missing loading gate, but that seem to be only issue. Appreciate your help, in advance.

hi lowe,
your model 92 was manufactured in 1892. for a first year rifle that is now legendary i'ld personally have a hands on appraisel done for insurance purposes. loading gate shouldn't be that hard to come by and any compitant gunsmith could make one for you. JMHO
